Objective of Role:
To design, develop, implement and institutionalize HR Systems and processes to help the Group become
an “Employer of Choice”.
This would include introduction of interventions to attract, develop and retain best talent;
ensure effective utilization of human resources across the Group;
benchmark and adopt best HR practices; build a performance-driven work culture;
automate HR systems, processes and records; encourage innovation and generation of new ideas;
and demonstrate ‘employee-friendliness’ by engaging staff at all levels and build a positive work environment.

Manage Cost of Employment (CoE) within the group to budgeted levels

Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes
Graduate in a business related degree, an MBA will be a distinct advantage
Knowledge and expertise in Kenyan labour laws a must
Experience in HR leadership position of not less than 5 years gained in the private commercial sector
Advanced proficiency in the use of MS Office suite
Fair and firm disposition with a pleasant yet assertive personality
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; and good in giving timely feedback
Results – driven and a “complete-finisher” with a knack for seeing things through to completion
Positive attitude with a “can-do” mentality
Mature disposition and an effective team player
