Position Summary
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) seeks to recruit a Medical Officer, with a University
degree in Medical (MBChB). Registered with Kenya Medical and Dental Practitioners’ Board.
Valid Advanced Trauma Life Certificate or Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support Certificate, Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate.
Trainer’s Certificate and VCCT certificate an advantage.
5 years of progressive Clinical experience in medical field as a minimum.
At least two should be in Accident and Emergency Unit, Intensive Care Unit or Aeronautical medicine.
Proven experience in Voluntary Confidential Counselling Testing (VCCT) and treatment of AIDS patients.
Experience in counselling and/or stress management an advantage.
The position also requires fluency in oral and written English. Oral Kiswahili is an asset.
