Job purpose: Reporting to Finance Director, this role will develop and implement sourcing and supplier management strategies to enable the organization meet its objectives.
Advice on appropriate procurement strategies and implement approved plans.
Conduct market research to identify pricing, availability and benchmarks.
Maintain supplier contacts.
Closely monitor and manage supplier cost, service and quality performance.
Develop the profile for procurement across all areas of the company.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
Diploma in Purchasing and supplies will be an added advantage.
Up to 6 years’ procurement experience in a busy firm.
Member of recognized professional body for procurement specialists.
