Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Nairobi Kenya.
Our Client is one of the leading FMCG manufactures in the region with four manufacturing divisions.
Directly Reports to: Executive Directors
Main Purpose of the Job
To plan and execute BTL campaigns for their major brands
Lead the Marketing function
Develop Creative Concepts for Branding & Advertising
Developing a fully integrated Marketing plan
To take the lead from the current outside agencies and develop an internal framework for marketing and advertising.
Development of the Media Plan
Control and preparation of the department budget.
Monitor Brand Performance with key marketing measures
liaison with the media houses & manage all production
Mentor and develop the team
Brainstorming ideas for BTL marketing and presenting proposals for the focus brands
Getting and acting on feedback from marketing activities
Creating and managing marketing budgets for the brands
Liaising with agencies, artists and POS production houses
Visiting the trade regularly and supervising marketing efforts, in liaison with the sales team.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
Should have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree. CIM qualifications will be an added advantage.
Spent at least 5 years in the marketing field, executing BTL marketing plans for FMCG companies
Should have experience or demonstrate the required competency to create and manage marketing budgets
Should have a keen understanding of various forms of traditional and unconventional marketing
Should have a keen understanding of distribution mechanisms.
Must be competent in use of Microsoft office Suite.
A self-motivated individual and an excellent team player able to influence others.
Should be able to speak English
Package: Gross salary plus medical, car, pension and bonus
