Our client, a leading FMCG company is seeking to recruit a qualified, competent and experienced individual to fill the position of an Export and Imports Officer
Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager the Export and imports Officer will:
Assist in Management of COMESA, SADC and Middle East markets
Help Identify and appoint suitable partners to market and distribute FMCG range of products in each targeted market
Help Achieve set regional sales and distribution objectives in each market
Have a clear understanding of import, customs and health regulations of each Country
Arrange for participation in Trade Fairs and Exhibitions in each market
Minimum Requirements
Should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce
At least 2 years experience in Exports and imports management in the FMCG industry especially with juice manufacturing firms desired
Must be acquainted with Import and Export procedures in COMESA countries
Be prepared to travel from time to time

The National Sales Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.
The purpose of this management job is to formulate and implement functional policies and strategies to achieve agreed sales and profitability targets.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- A Business related degree or a degree.
- Minimum 5 years experience at a sales management level in an FMCG environment.

Key Result Areas
- Formulate and implement sales strategies for assigned product(s)/area to achieve agreed sales and profitability targets.
- Set and ensure achievement of agreed sales targets for respective areas and sales channels.
- Formulate departmental budget and ensure that expenditure is maintained within approved budget.
- Train and develop an appropriate sales force and structure that maximises effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop and fine-tune distribution channels and systems to optimise product availability and maximize sales.
- Ensure superior customer service with particular emphasis on business partners.
- Gather market information and conduct effective competition analysis and advise on new product introductions.
- Ensure formulation and implementation of an effective discount structure and that customers are within the agreed trading terms.
- Adopt and implement new management models like Kaizen to achieve the desired goals.
- Timely presentation of all required reports and documents.

The purpose of the Brand Manager is to formulate and implement appropriate branding strategies for a sustainable brand growth and competitiveness.
Principal Accountabilities
- Develop and implement brand strategy and plan with focus on growing the brand.
- Manage the New Product Development process inline with market trends.
- Actively participate in Margin Improvement Initiatives.
- Monitor, Control & Report Category Performance through regular updates on brand indicators such as on a regular basis.
- Establish a sustained market presence of the brand by nurturing a strong and consistent foothold in the consumer’s consciousness
- Support the sales force with marketing programs that are realistic, implement able and rewarding
- Provide marketing performance reports of the brand to higher management
- Coordinate with Sales to check progress of any advertising and promotional campaigns of the brand aimed at generating sales, creating new markets
- Degree in Marketing or related field
- Minimum three (3) years experience in Brand Management
- Proven expertise to create, develop and implement strategic plans and tactics
- Superior oral and written communication skills with highly acquired interpersonal skills
- Flexible and ability to prioritize and manage tasks within short deadlines
- Good knowledge of marketing strategies
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer requirements

Main Purpose of the Job
To plan and execute BTL campaigns for their major brands
Main Responsibilities
Lead the Marketing function
Develop Creative Concepts for Branding & Advertising
Developing a fully integrated Marketing plan
To take the lead from the current outside agencies and develop an internal framework for marketing and advertising.
Development of the Media Plan
Control and preparation of the department budget.
Monitor Brand Performance with key marketing measures
liaison with the media houses & manage all production
Mentor and develop the team
Routine Responsibilities
Brainstorming ideas for BTL marketing and presenting proposals for the focus brands
Getting and acting on feedback from marketing activities
Creating and managing marketing budgets for the brands
Liaising with agencies, artists and POS production houses
Visiting the trade regularly and supervising marketing efforts, in liaison with the sales team.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
Should have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree. CIM qualifications will be an added advantage.
Spent at least 5 years in the marketing field, executing BTL marketing plans for FMCG companies
Should have experience or demonstrate the required competency to create and manage marketing budgets
Should have a keen understanding of various forms of traditional and unconventional marketing
Should have a keen understanding of distribution mechanisms.
Must be competent in use of Microsoft office Suite.
A self-motivated individual and an excellent team player able to influence others.
Should be able to speak English
